Working together, we all can make a difference.
Ultimately, the most important thing our shelter animals need is a home. We have dogs and cats of all ages and sizes just waiting to go home with you. Come find your new best friend at MOAS!
Fostering is one of the easiest ways to save lives. Our shelter physically can't hold every animal that comes to us and some animals need time in a foster home to recover from injury or illnesses. By taking an animal in temporarily you give them a second chance at life that they might not otherwise get.
We can't do everything that we need to do without the help of our volunteers. We rely on them to help us with socialization and exercise for our pets, special events, vaccine clinics, off-site adoption events, and more. Whatever your schedule is, there's a way for you to get involved!
Spay & Neuter Your Pets to Save Lives
At MOAS, we love kittens and puppies as much as anyone does, but not when we have too many! Kitten and puppy season starts early in the year and floods the shelter with unwanted strays and unplanned litters well into fall. Many of these precious babies won't make it out of the shelter, especially given how vulnerable they are to illness and disease. Spay & Neuter your pets now to be part of the solution, not part of the problem!
Need help with stray animals? Contact our shelter for assistance. Just bringing us the babies without altering the parents does not fix the problem!
Upcoming Events & Clinics
Dedicated to serving our community.
We hold regular events throughout the year to help us better serve our community. These include practical events like our low cost spay/neuter and rabies clinics as well as monthly off-site adoption events. You won't want to miss our top annual fundraisers like our Bark & Wine event in August and our annual Yard Sale in May. We also hold lots of fun holiday events like our Easter Egg Hunt for Pups and our Santa Paws event. Be sure to check back regularly to see what events are coming up next. You can also sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about upcoming events.
