You've heard of Spring Cleaning - well at the shelter, we're so busy that we need help with Fall Cleaning too! So we're back with our very popular Family Volunteer Day series this Sunday to tackle all sorts of projects at the shelter, all of which are designed so that there's something for volunteers of all ages to help with. This Sunday we'll be cleaning up from the end of our Yard Sale, taking down our Halloween decorations, and most likely replacing them with more holiday decorations for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. Now that the weather is cooler, we're going to do some cleaning and organizing of the items in our outside storage shed and possibly our attic (no volunteers will be asked to get into our attic though - staff and board members will handle that part). We'll also be bathing pups indoors to help increase their chances of being adopted while also working on normal things like training and socialization. 

Come on out and help us - you can snag some great last minute deals at the yard sale before we get started, and we promise you'll have a really fun time volunteering with us!
