A Scramble Golf Tournament Benefiting MOAS!

October 9th / 8:00am / at the Highland Walk Golf Course in Victoria Bryant State Park

COVID-19 has made it hard to enjoy almost all of our usual activities, including many of our favorite fundraisers. But golf is the perfect socially-distanced activity, so we’re partnering with the great folks at Highland Walk Golf Course at Victoria Bryant State Park to bring you the 2nd Annual Putts for Mutts Golf Tournament on October 9th! Any COVID guidelines in place at the Golf Course at the time of the tournament will be followed. Please check their website for that information.

This will be a traditional Captain's choice scramble tournament of four-person teams with a shotgun start promptly at 8:30am. Registration begins at 8:00 am. All teams should plan to arrive no later than 8:00 am and must be at their tees prior to 8:30 am. We are registering 4 person teams only. As long as a full registration fee of $300 is paid, a three-person team can play using continual player rotation for each shot. If you want to participate and cannot find another person to play with, please email Glenda Faulkner to be placed on a waiting list as we may be able to match you up with other players.

Registration is $300 for a full team.

Registration includes range balls and lunch which will be from the Butt Hutt and served under the pavilion after play is complete. There will also be a beverage cart circling around with non-alcoholic drinks for sale during the tournament. Please register early as interest has already been very high.

Additional Tournament Details:

• Women will play from the red tees, men from the white tees, seniors (62-69) from the yellow tees, and super seniors (70+) play from the red tees.

• Each player will receive one free mulligan with their registration to be played anywhere and on any shot.

• Registration is non-refundable. There is a rain date - November 13, 2021 - in the event of inclement weather on October 9, 2021.

Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, in addition to the Longest Drive (men’s and women’s) and Closest to the Pin. There will be a 50-50 closest to the pin contest on hole 14 for which you will pay $5 in cash at registration.
