MOAS Has a New Logo!

Over the past few years MOAS Pets has been revitalized under the exceptional leadership of Director Shaina Knight and her dedicated staff in coordination with a passionate and engaged Board of Directors, all of whom have been focused on one goal: saving as many lives as possible. To that end, MOAS has focused on improving shelter outcomes, while also reducing the number of unwanted pets that would otherwise come to the shelter through aggressive spay/neuter campaigns and free or low-cost spay/neuter services. Director Knight has also industriously applied for grants to enable MOAS to continue to expand its life-saving efforts. In the last year alone, she has brought in over $65,000 in grants for specific goals including a mobile vaccine clinic, increased medical supplies, and specialized medical equipment to help fulfill MOAS’ mission. The shelter has also benefitted from a renewed focus on training and the development of updated shelter protocols, new fences and infrastructure, cost-saving measures that have allowed us to make every dollar go that much farther, and more.

In honor of all of the growth that MOAS has experienced in these past few years, we are thrilled to announce MOAS’ new logo representing the modern vision of what MOAS is and will continue to be for our community. It was designed by long-time Bark and Wine sponsor and MOAS foster parent Keith Przybyla-Kuchek, and we cannot thank him enough for his excellent work and advice throughout the design process. At MOAS, we strive to provide a friendly atmosphere where shelter animals receive the care, exercise, and enrichment that they need to remain physically and mentally healthy while they wait for their forever homes. We believe that our new logo helps illustrate the character of our organization, and we hope that you’ll stop by to see it in person soon.
